World Relief Spokane welcomes you to this online platform. We created this blog for the purpose of sharing testimonies, written by staff, volunteers, donors and refugees alike.
Our mission is to empower the local church to serve the most vulnerable.
The local church has the ability to work in communities better than any government or national organizationbecause of one key factor: relationship. The relationships built with people who move in right next door to local churches ensure nobody gets lost and everyone is valued. Those relationships are the basis for many of the stories we share here, because when a church steps up to serve the most vulnerable lives are changed for all involved.
Our prayer is that you are encouraged by the dialogue expressed through this online platform. We invite you to share in this time of fellowship with us, as we engage in the stories of the vulnerable people groups that are resettled here in Spokane.
World Relief Spokane currently provides refugee resettlement assistance, employment services, micro-enterprise loans, and immigration services.
